Our lives are becoming ever busier with the increasing demands on us from our jobs, children, the media (to have certain things and look the 'right' way), worries and anxieties about the past (what has happened), the future (what may happen) and our now accepted, fast pace of life.
A recent sudy from the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) found that relaxation-response techniques (such as meditation, yoga, and prayer) could reduce the need for health care services by 43 percent.
Previous controlled studies have shown that when subjects elicit the relaxation-response they also affect physiological factors such as heart rate, oxygen consumption and blood pressure, as well as reducing the more obvious stress and anxiety.
Learning these simple skills will not only; make you calmer, happier and feel more in control, but they are likely to improve your health, relationships and general wellbeing.

The course is recognised towards your Continual Professional Development (CPD) and is accredited by the ACCPH (ACCPH the Professional Body for Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Clinical Hypnotherapists) and also counts towards your Continual Professional Development (CPD).
